President & CEO

Robert Miata is the President and CEO of Consolidated  Risk Management ,  and is a Loss Control and Safety Engineer, as well as an Electrical Engineer with over 36 years experience in the administration of Safety and Health Training Programs.   Experience includes 14 years as a Loss Control Manager and AVP with Chubb & Sons, Inc. Mr. Miata holds an Associates Degree in Electrical Engineering from SUNY Farmingdale, a Bachelors of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from New York Institute of Technology, Old Westbury, New York; and holds a Certificate of Hazardous Material Response from Monroe Community College, Rochester, New York.   

Professional Designations include New York State Licensed Safety Consultant (No. CSC 97 0173),  Certified Hazardous Material Technician and Instructor, a Certified Safety Trainer, a Certified Healthcare Safety Professional, and an Occupational Safety Professional, with a Designation as Master, and is Certified by the National Association of Safety & Health Professionals. (Certification No. H95070027), and a Certified Hazard Control Manager – Master Level; and OSHA 10 and 30 Hour Training certification

Mr. Miata ‘s experience includes over 30 years as a firefighter and Ex-Captain in the Fire Department, as well as 17 years as a Commander and Lieutenant for a Hazardous Materials Response Team.
