Excavation Safety and Competent Person Training

CRM Inc.. can provide training for Cemetery Competent Persons regarding Excavation Safety, in compliance with OSHA's Standard 29 CFR 1926.650. This includes the completion of daily inspections of excavations, the adjacent areas, and protective systems by the competent persons.

Sexual Harassment

​

Training is available in accordance with the New York State requirements for combating sexual harassment in the workplace. This includes interactive training, use of case studies, incorporation of acknowledgement of training, as well as distribution of policy and complaint forms.

MEWP Training (Mobile Elevated Work Platform)

​

Training for cemetery staff who operation Group A MEWPs (Mobile Elevated Work Platforms) as part of their work duties, is available. The training program provided by Consolidated Risk Management, Inc. is interactive and includes lecture, practical evaluations, and topic testing.

​

The American National Standards Institute (ANSI) creates standards that govern the design and use of aerial work platforms. New standards were put into place that were effective December 2019. These guidelines, which are required by OSHA, identify the design, safe use, and training requirements, for MEWPs. 

​

Everyone must be trained to the new standards, regardless of prior training

​

All training must be delivered by a qualified person and must be offered in a language and format the trainee can understand.
